Features that make every photo verifiable

SnapID Mark is a camera first: open the app, shoot, and the time, the place and a SnapID code are burned onto the photo. Here is everything it does, for one person or a whole company.

On every photo

Open the app and you are already in the camera. All verification details are burned onto the photo and stored for comparison.

Server-trusted time

The time on the stamp comes from a trusted clock synced with our servers, not the phone clock. Changing the device time does not change the capture time.

GPS, address & mini map

Coordinates, accuracy, a full street address and a small map right on the photo. Mock locations are detected.

Weather at capture

Temperature and conditions are added automatically, handy for site diaries and claim files.

SnapID code + QR code

Each photo gets a unique code like SNP-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX. Anyone can scan the QR code or enter the code to verify it, no account needed.

Photo clock-in

Clock in and out with a single photo, checked against the geofence of each site or location.

Shoot without signal

Photos stay safe on the phone and keep their trusted time. Workspace photos are sent to the workspace once you are back online (in Automatic or Manual sending mode); personal photos stay on the phone.

Stamps in your style

35+ built-in templates, a drag-and-drop editor, stickers, signature, notes, opacity, photo filters and landscape capture.

19 languages

The interface and stamp labels follow the photographer’s language: English, Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Arabic and more. Light and dark themes included.

The mini map, current weather, photo frames, colour filters, high photo quality and hiding the SnapID Mark logo come with Premium and business plans. Compare plans

More in the camera

Stamped video

Record video with the stamp burned in, showing the start time and duration. Videos stay on your phone.

Notes, projects and signature

Add a note, a project, a work item, a handwritten signature or stickers to the stamp.

Your logo on the stamp

Upload your own logo for personal photos. In a workspace, the stamp uses the company's logo library.

Saved to your phone gallery

Stamped photos are also saved to a “SnapID Mark” album in the phone gallery. You can turn this off in Settings.

Start without an account

Tap “Start now, no account needed” to go straight to the camera, and create an account only when you need one.

Share with a verify link

Share the photo or its verify link. Recipients see the capture time and a rounded area at verify.snapidmark.com.

Three steps: Snap → Stamp → Verify

  1. SnapThe app opens straight into the camera. Pick a template, tap the shutter, done. Everything else is at most two taps away.
  2. StampTrusted time, GPS, address, weather, the SnapID code and QR code are burned onto the photo. The original and the stamp data are stored separately for comparison.
  3. VerifyRecipients scan the QR code or enter the code at verify.snapidmark.com/v/CODE to see the time, area, integrity flags, and compare the file right in the browser.

Hard to fake. Unbothered by bad signal.

The server is the source of truth: every upload is re-checked and flagged when something looks off.

  • Offline queueBasements, remote sites: photos stay safe on the phone with pre-issued SnapID codes. Workspace photos you have sent upload once a connection returns.
  • Trusted time that ignores clock changesA monotonic system clock counts from the last sync, so changing the phone time has no effect.
  • Mock GPS & tampered device detectionMock locations, rooted / jailbroken devices and invalid app builds are recorded as integrity flags.
  • File comparison with SHA-256The verify page fingerprints the file inside the recipient’s browser, with no upload needed.
  • Private by defaultThe public verify page only shows a rounded area. Full details stay inside your workspace.
