SnapID Mark has three ways to sign in: email and password, Google, and Apple (the Apple button is on iPhone only). There is no sign-in by phone number or one-time code. If you just want to try the app, use guest mode.
- On the sign-in screen, enter your email and password and sign in.
- Use the email you created your account with. If your company invited you by email, use that exact address to get into the company workspace.
- If you signed in with Google or Apple before, tap that button instead of typing a password — see Google and Apple.
You stay signed in after closing the app. If a business suspends you or removes you from its workspace, all your sessions are signed out; when you sign in again you land in your Personal workspace.
Create an account
You can create your account in the SnapID Mark app or on the Admin web app (app.snapidmark.com) — it is the same account for both.
- On the sign-in screen, choose Create account (on the web: Don’t have an account? Create an account). Or use Continue with Google — Google accounts don’t need email verification.
- Enter your Name, Email and Password (on the web, type the password a second time). The password needs at least 8 characters. Pick a phrase that is easy for you to remember but hard to guess, and don’t reuse a password from another account.
- SnapID sends a verification email. Open it and tap the link.
Why verify: it proves the email is yours. Until you verify, the camera and your Personal workspace work normally in the app, but you can’t create or join a business, receive invitations or recover your password.
On the Admin web app, the Verify your email screen moves on by itself once you’ve opened the link (or click I’ve verified). No email? Check your spam/Promotions folder, then click Resend email (once every 60 seconds; in the app it’s on the banner). Typed the wrong email? Click Wrong email? Change it: the link goes to the new address, opening it switches and verifies the email, then you sign in again with the new email.
Forgot your password
- On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password?.
- Enter your account email and tap Send reset link.
- Open the email (it can take a few minutes; check spam too) and tap the link. SnapID’s Choose a new password page opens with your account email; type a new password (at least 8 characters) twice and save.
- Sign in with the new password — on the web click Sign in, in the app go back to the app.
Link expired or already used? That page lets you enter your email to get a new one. Forgot password on the Admin web app works the same way.
If you created your account with Google or Apple, it has no separate SnapID password — sign in with the Google or Apple button.
Sign in with Google or Apple
- Google: tap Continue with Google and pick the Google account on your phone. Available on Android and iPhone.
- Apple: tap Continue with Apple. This button is only on iPhone. On Android, sign in with email or Google.
The first time you use Google or Apple, your SnapID account is created automatically. Use the same button next time to get back into the same account.
Guest mode (no account)
Tap Continue as guest on the last intro screen or on the sign-in screen to go straight to the camera.
Guests can:
- Take photos with the full stamp, SnapID code and QR; photos upload and can be verified like any other.
- Use the gallery, photo details and personal templates (stored on the phone).
- Take up to 50 photos a day.
Needs an account: business workspaces (create, join, invites), attendance, template sync and sharing, the Marketplace, purchases and a personal logo. When you tap one of these, the app shows Sign-in required with options to sign in or create an account.
Keep your photos: when you create an account, or sign in with Google, Apple or an existing email, the photos and templates you made as a guest move into your account.
Good to know:
- Guest accounts unused for 30 days are deleted together with their photos.
- Signing out of guest mode loses those photos. Create an account first if you want to keep them.
Delete your account
- Open Settings from the camera and choose Delete account.
- If you haven’t signed in recently, the app may ask you to sign in again.
- Read the summary, tick I understand this can’t be undone and confirm.
What happens:
- Your account is disabled and signed out right away, and you leave every business.
- Work photos belong to the business: each business decides whether to keep or delete them.
- Your personal photos, templates and signature are deleted once the SnapID team confirms the request. Verification links for those personal photos will show that the photo was deleted.
- Photos still waiting to upload on the phone are lost — the app tells you how many before you confirm.
- Guest accounts are erased immediately.
Can’t delete? If you are the only Owner of a business that still has other members, transfer ownership to someone else first. A business where you are the only member can be deleted along with your account.
No longer have the app? You can send a request on the Delete account page or email us.
