A business workspace lets the whole team shoot work photos with the same template, clock in with a photo, and gives admins every photo in the Admin web app.
Join a business
You need an account with a verified email (guests can’t join). There are three ways:
- Invite link: tap the link your company sent; the app opens and asks if you want to join.
- 6-character code: tap the workspace name on the camera › Join with code, then type it or tap Paste code.
- Invite QR: on the join screen choose Scan invite QR and scan the QR your admin shows you.
If your company invited you by email, sign in with that same email; the invite will be waiting with Join and Decline buttons. Once you join, you are a Member and the new workspace appears in your workspace list.
Several wrong codes in a row lock joining for a few minutes. Each person who joins uses one of the business’s seats; if there are no seats left, tell the business owner.
Invite members
Owners and Admins invite people from Members (in the business area of the app, or in the Admin web app) › Invite members:
- Link, QR or code: one shared link/QR/6-character code for the whole business. Anyone with it can join as a Member, so only share it inside your team. Tap New link to disable the old one.
- By email: enter a list of emails; each person gets a personal invite that holds a seat and expires after 7 days.
- CSV import (Admin web app only): add many people at once.
Invited people install SnapID Mark, create an account, verify their email and then join as described above.
Roles
| Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
| Owner (exactly 1) | Everything an Admin can, plus: promote or demote Admins, sign-in security, plan and billing, transfer ownership, delete the workspace. |
| Admin | Manage members (except other Admins), stamp templates, sites and projects; see the whole team’s photos and attendance; review warnings. |
| Member | Take work photos and clock in; see their own photos and attendance. |
- Only the Owner can make someone an Admin.
- Transfer ownership: the Owner opens Members, opens the menu for the new owner › Transfer ownership.
- When a member is suspended or removed, all their sessions are signed out. They keep their account and Personal workspace.
Photo attendance
In a business workspace the camera has three modes: Photo, Clock in and Clock out.
- Choose Clock in when you start work and take a photo. The app shows Clocked in HH:mm.
- At the end of the day choose Clock out and shoot. The front or back camera both work; a selfie is not required.
- Check your record in My attendance (last 14 days).
Sites (geofence): if your company has set up sites, the camera shows Inside / Outside. When the business requires attendance inside a site, the app blocks capture outside and says Move inside a site to take photos. Each site’s radius is set by your admins (50 to 1000 m).
Daily status: On time, Late, Missing clock-in, Missing clock-out, Absent, Day off. Shift start and the late threshold are set by your admins.
Good to know:
- Attendance uses the trusted capture time, so an offline clock-in is recorded on the right day and time when the photo uploads later. Photos uploaded more than 15 minutes late are marked so admins can cross-check.
- Businesses require precise location and block mock-location apps — see Location and GPS.
- Required fields never block Clock in / Clock out.
- Forgot to clock out? Ask an admin; they can enter a manual clock-out time.
